Kovobel Side-Wall Air Grilles — Increase Ventilation in Your Flat Pack Container

Kovobel flat pack containers are already naturally ventilated through the roof design, preventing condensation in standard storage conditions. However, for applications requiring enhanced airflow — chemical storage, spray painting, high-humidity contents or climates with significant temperature swings — these side-wall air grilles provide additional low-level and high-level ventilation points directly through the container side panels.

When Are Additional Grilles Recommended?

Standard Kovobel containers are designed with natural roof ventilation that prevents condensation during long-term storage of typical goods. Additional side-wall grilles are recommended when:

• Storing chemicals or substances that emit vapour — low-level intake and high-level exhaust grilles create a through-draft to prevent vapour accumulation
• Using the container as a spray booth, drying room or paint store where fume dispersal is required
• Operating in a high-humidity environment where maximum airflow is beneficial
• Storing moisture-sensitive goods where maximum dryness is critical
